KANSAS CITY, Mo. â?? Do you love McDonaldâ??s new Angus Third Pounder? If so, you can turn your love of food into an advertisement. The winners will get their own billboards.

In a first time offer in the Kansas City market, McDonaldâ??s is offering customers a chance to write and submit their own two-word billboard slogans, promoting the new burgers. Selected headlines, along with the names of their authors, will cycle in 10-second increments during a 24-hour take-over of all 13 Kansas City area video billboards on Thursday, September 24, 2009.

The Angus Third Pounders are a new line of premium burgers that officially debuted nationally in early August. Each burger is made with a third-pound of 100% Angus beef and fresh ingredients.

Individuals interested in submitting their two-word headlines can do so by clicking here, or they can text the key word ANGUS, along with their name and two word submissions, to 47201.

"We're constantly aiming to bring tasty, new menu choices to our Kansas City customers," said Lisa Essig, Heart of America co-op president in Kansas City. "With the launch of the new Angus Third Pounder burger, we wanted to invite the public to write their own headlines that describe this great new menu item."
