Social Content Strategist

Description

Bernstein-Rein now hiring a Social Content Strategist. The desired candidate must be an experienced hire who acts as the primary social voice of Bernstein-Rein clients. They will grow the digital platforms through frequent, engaging, brand-right social media conversations and content that increase loyalty to and perceptions of the brand. The Social Content Strategist will help refine marketing strategies by sharing insights and perspectives mined through daily interactions in social media.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social media content planning
• Develop and manage editorial calendars for the brand’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram,
Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and others.
• Partner with creative and account management teams to plan brand’s platform and brand marketing strategies
and campaigns that integrate social media

Social media content execution and conversation management
• Write the majority of content for the brand’s social media platforms, using established brand personality and
identity
• Curate social content opportunities on behalf of the brand
• Work with cross-functional teams to estimate, source and create multimedia content for social marketing platforms
• Identify brand influencers and nurture those relationships to further brand marketing goals
• Monitor social media on a daily basis and engage in conversations on behalf of the division when appropriate,
collaborating with client to craft responses

Social media analytics
• Mine social conversations for business-relevant consumer and product insights, and share those insights with
integrated marketing teams

Social business development
• Help establish and grow the social marketing function at Bernstein-Rein. Collaborate with team members to
develop and share best practices
• Support Bernstein-Rein social marketing efforts

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Strong creative writer, with ability to think strategically
  • Comfortable with using data to communicate results and refine strategies
  • Strong people skills and able to effectively manage community criticism
  • Creates content for social media on a regular basis
  • 3-5 years of experience planning and creating social media content and conversations on behalf of a brand or organization
  • 4-year college degree
