Fire Engine [design studio], a design boutique in the heart of the Crossroads Arts District and a division of Bernstein-Rein Advertising, seeks a a designer who has at least 3+ years of experience in advertising or marketing and a book that will knock our socks off. Your work must show strong conceptual skills, and experience in traditional print, packaging, direct mail, point-of-sale and branding, but also illustrate your passion and grasp of digital and new technologies.

Must know the Creative Suite like the back of your hand. As a key player of a very collaborative, integrated marketing group, you’ll work with a talented team of Art Directors, Designers, Writers and Strategists to concept, shape and produce outstanding and effective marketing.

The ideal candidate needs to be able to take ownership, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and multiple deadlines, while staying hands-on, with activities ranging from developing design concepts through to implementing projects down to the fine details. Summer Internship - 2015


Bernstein-Rein Advertising offers paid summer internships to students between their junior and senior years.

Students are encouraged to maximize their potential in a warm, informal and welcoming environment. Students' applications should indicate a strong commitment to advertising and/or marketing or related disciplines, e.g. design, creative writing, etc. Among the benefits of the BR internship experience (and it is an experience!) is the opportunity to work with top professionals at a leading agency - and on real client work.

In addition to client work, at the close of the eight-week program, interns present a group project to the company's top execs. Through five decades, BR has built well-known consumer brands like Wal-Mart, McDonald's, H&R Block, Blockbuster, Hostess,Farmland, MetLife and PetSmart.
