Senior Account Executive

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Act as the client’s advocate within the agency on a specific body of work, using knowledge and experience to contribute to successful client and agency outcomes
    • Leads team understanding of clients’ business goals and objectives on specific projects
    • Perform a lead role in reviewing and analyzing material relative to client needs – media results, research data, competitive information, category trends, product/service information, etc.
    • Review final creative work and other agency communications before distribution to client for consistency with the identified objectives, needs and brand standard.
  • Proactively manage the body of work to ensure accuracy and responsiveness to client needs
    • Maintain a thorough record of key communications between client and agency
    • Ability to effectively manage internal processes related to client projects
  • Understand and apply the fundamentals of marketing to the client’s business on a daily basis
    • Proactively encourage and lead a cross-functional team to provide innovative, media/channel neutral ideas, strategies and solutions
    • Ability to independently and proactively translate client business needs, understand what success means to them and helping agency team deliver those results
    • Participate in communications strategy & marketing platform development
  • Apply strong verbal and written communications skills in marketing and business leadership
    • Demonstrate excellent judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills
    • Possess strong writing and persuasion skills

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or similar degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience with an advertising agency; previous financial services industry expertise helpful
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Outstanding written, oral and presentation communication skills
  • Collaborative work-style in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidate must have strong attention to detail and organization skills
